Angie Epting Morris, native of Athens, Georgia, is the author of a new book entitled The Settlement Game: How to Settle an Estate Peacefully and Fairly. This is a step-by-step guide on how to avoid conflict when dividing the personal property and household goods of an estate. It is based largely on advice from her father, long-time attorney, Eugene A. Epting of Athens, Georgia.
Angie is available for speaking engagements, complimentary to church groups andother civic organizations within drive distance in Georgia. Other locations with travel expenses assessed. Workshops at nominal charge. Details described below:
Luncheon Presentations (Presentations less than one hour)
For Church groups and Civic Organizations, programs can be from 15 minutes to 45 minutes. Usually this will deal with topics such as: “What are the Three Main Causes of Conflict During an Estate Settlement and What to do About Them.”
Presentation is free of charge unless travel expenses are necessary. Permission is kindly requested for creating a small “Back of the Room” Sales Table for a Book Signing after the presentation, when other business has been completed. A signed copy of the book will be presented for the Church Library or as a give away at the luncheon for civic or church groups.
Workshop Presentations (For presentations of one hour or more.)
These can be designed for time periods between one to four hours as required by sponsoring company or organization. The appropriate charges for these workshops can be customized individually for a specific group, depending on the included features and purpose of the event. Suggested uses for such workshops:
Fundraiser
For a civic club or organization. Charges for the event, can be set above the rate charged by the author. Negotiated rates for these workshops are reasonable, but vary based on total length of program desired, included materials to be supplied by author, and the number of attendees. (Negotiated rate will be kept confidential.)
Benefit
For members of an organization, employees, customers or clients. May be used as a give-away or as a means of attracting new business for sponsoring organization.
